2019 to Present

Responsible for creating bespoke, holistic content marketing strategies, my primary function is to devise a campaign that reflects the unique voice of a brand while driving conversions and maximizing return
on investment. I oversee every area
of content strategy creation and execution for each client, including content production, optimization, promotion, management,
and reporting.

SENIOR COPYWRITER/ ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR, CIRCA INTERACTIVE

2018 – 2019

Create brand identities and marketing campaigns for the higher education sector to bring the best and most relevant education opportunities to the widest possible target audience, using a mix of market research, paid campaigns and social media targeting.

WOMEN'S RUNNING MAGAZINE & COMPETITOR.COM

2017 –  2018

Set the editorial strategy and creative vision for two of the world's most largest and most respected running media outlets. Worked directly with professional athletes, celebrities, influencers, and major brands such as Adidas and Nike to secure the best coverage of industry news and events. Traveled domestically and internationally to promote the brand and secure coverage opportunities.

LONELY PLANET MAGAZINE & DESTINATION EDITOR FOR LONELY PLANET

 2015 – 2017

Write, edit, and produce print, digital, and video content for the magazine, online channels, guidebooks, and trade titles. Work directly with tourism boards and convention and visitor bureaus, both domestically and internationally, to secure assets and coordinate trips to produce content. Worked directly with media outlets to promote the brand and was the spokesperson for national campaigns.

 2010 – 2015

Created highly illustrated books from conception through to publication for both children and adults. Responsible for pitching ideas, acquiring authors, negotiating contracts, editing, and art direction for each project. Presented titles at sales conferences and created marketing copy for internal and external use. Worked closely with imprimaturs to create successful publishing partnerships.

 2005 – 2010

Managed the editorial process for a range of trade nonfiction, highly illustrated books  for natural history, foreign language, and pet care verticals. Responsible for line editing and picture research for each project. Presented titles at sales conferences and created marketing copy for internal and external use. Worked closely with imprimaturs to create successful publishing partnerships.
